The Family Centered Educational Agency, Inc. serves thousands
of community residents annually. In general, our clients lack
post-secondary baccalaureate degrees, are very poor, live in
families with children, are in need of financial aid and college
admission assistance and are representative of the ethnic
makeup of the US poverty population.
21st Century Vision
Responding to Needs of Future Generations: A long-term vision
and plan to address the multiple problems of the rapidly
growing population of low-income children and youth must,
above all, be a plan to accommodate the day-to-day needs of
the population now and in the future. FCEA will aggressively
pursue monies to support childcare, child development
programs, Head Start, and programs for older youth. These
programs will support learning, health, feeding and
immunization initiatives, substance abuse prevention, summer
jobs programs for teens, and summer recreation programs for
younger children. We will also offer parenting classes, literacy
programs, and adult education.

ABOUT FCEA
| Our agency receives funding from state and federal as well as individual and private donors. This funding enables us to place numerous students that are low-income, first-generation college enrollees into colleges and universities across the United States. |
